  • What forms of payment do you accept & do I need to leave a tip?

    We take cash, card, Venmo (@elevatemodernmassage), Cash App (@elevatemodernmassage), or Apple Pay. Cash is always preferred as all other processors charge a merchant fee.

    We do not accept tips — our services are a flat rate and are priced accordingly.

  • Do you offer couple's massages?

    Yes! We do have to coordinate schedules between our massage therapists, so please text us at (405) 438-0001 to request a date/time and we’ll send you a private link to book the appointment. Couple’s pricing is currently at $270 for 60 min. and $350 for 90 min. It’s the perfect way to celebrate an anniversary, wedding, birthday, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day—any excuse to enjoy a relaxing massage and spoil your loved one!

  • How do I purchase a gift certificate?

    Visit this page to purchase an e-gift card! The gift recipient will receive an email with the promo code for redeeming the appointment. Physical gift cards and envelopes are also available for pick-up at our office! Please text (405) 438-0001 to coordinate a time for pickup.

  • What are the benefits of massage therapy?

    There are so many amazing benefits — it’s hard to name them all! Here are a few:

    • Reduces stress/anxiety and increases relaxation.

    • Provides relief from pain, muscle soreness, stiffness and tension.

    • Improves circulation/blood flow, lymphatic drainage, flexibility, joint mobility, energy and focus.

    • Promotes quicker recovery between workouts and better sleep.

  • What should I communicate with you?

    When you discuss your medical history and concerns, also mention your daily activities. Do you drive a lot or run marathons? Does your job require heavy lifting? Do you use your hands constantly? Do you have a desk job? In addition, let me know what level of pressure you prefer and if you have any trouble areas on your body that you’d like us to focus on. We appreciate any sort of feedback (positive or negative) so that we can learn your preferences. We don’t want to exceed your pain threshold. In order to help you to the best of our ability, communication and guidance is key. The more we know about you, the more we can customize/personalize your experience.

  • Do I have to get naked?

    For a full body massage, you are asked to undress to your comfort level. Most clients are fully nude or keep their underwear on. You will be properly draped at all times so that you are never inappropriately exposed. Your safety and comfort is our biggest priority!

  • Do I need to shower/shave beforehand?

    No need to shave, but please shower for cleanliness and better absorption of products we use on your skin!

  • What should I expect AFTER my massage?

    You may feel a little sore, but you will probably get a GREAT night’s sleep. Make sure to drink TONS of fluids after your appointment (replenish those electrolytes), do some gentle stretching, and maybe even take an epsom salt bath or have a hot sauna session to further relax your muscles. Try to avoid coffee/alcohol and any intense workouts or heavy lifting for the next 24 hours to give your body time to repair itself.

  • How often should I get a massage?

    For preventative care or to manage stress levels, one massage every 4-6 weeks is recommended. More frequent sessions may be desirable if you struggle with chronic tightness or pain that is interfering with your daily life.

  • What if I fall asleep during my session?

    That’s totally okay! A massage is supposed to help you relax, so if you fall asleep it’s natural. You might experience the best nap of your life.

  • What precautions are you taking against COVID-19?

    The safety and health of our clients is our top priority—which is why our staff is fully vaccinated. We ask that you notify us if you exhibit any symptoms of COVID-19 or other infectious illnesses, including: fever, cough, shortness of breath, trouble breathing, chills, muscle aches, headache, sore throat, or loss of taste/smell. We commit to monitoring our own health, washing our hands before and after the treatment, sanitizing the massage table before and after each client, thoroughly washing the sheets and blankets, and properly cleaning all used tools/supplies. There will also be sanitizers and hand soaps readily available for use. If at any time you request our staff to wear a mask during your session, we will gladly do so.
